1833: Willem Grasso born on 20th April 1833 in Tilburg, The Netherlands

1858: Willem Grasso starts a forge-workshop in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands

1894: Henri Grasso, 30 years old, takes over the business from his father.

1896: Henri Grasso moves the factory of butter/margarine machines from 's-Hertogenbosch to much  
larger premises at Vught, The Netherlands. The name of the factory is enormous: "'s-
Hertogenbossche Machinefabriek Ketelmakerij en IJzer- en Metaalgieterij Henri Grasso". Henri
has to provide 100 houses for his employees. In the same year Henri Grasso starts a
department specializing in refrigeration engineering.
