Programme of GEA Grasso Training Courses for reciprocating and screw compressors

General

Grasso regularly organizes theoretical and practical courses within the fields of reciprocating and screw compressors.

For whom

The courses are offered especially for service and maintenance engineers of industrial refrigeration plants to ensure proper application and maintenance of the Grasso equipment. The courses are intensive, thus limiting the number of participants to maximum 8-10 persons. The course and documentation can be provided in English, German and for recips also in Dutch.

Aim

The training courses focus on the construction and functions of the compressors and packages together with service and maintenance operations. Besides this basic element, time will also be spent on the programming and operation of the GSC and Monitron microprocessors.

Participation

The courses are held on a first-come basis. This means that at the time the maximum amount of participants has been reached the possible dates of the courses will be announced. The courses are geared to one another, this means that one can follow in one week a course for screws in Berlin, Germany as well as a course for recips in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.

Schedule 1st Day:

•  Construction and working principles piston compressors (one stage)
•  Capacity regulators
•  Oil circuit
•  Factory tour (in-house)
•  Practical hands on training
•  Dinner

Schedule 2nd Day:

•  Application of the current piston compressors
•  Drives, control systems GSC & PLC controllers
•  Two stage compressors including intermediate coolers
•  Maintenance and mounting instruction accessories
•  Practical hands on training
