5/25/2012

From 07 - 09 May 2012 GEA Refrigeration Technologies was part of the Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services Exhibition (ARBS) and presented news and solutions of its broad product portfolio to more than 7,000 visitors.

Over three days, refrigerating and air-conditioning experts met again at one of the most important industry events around natural refrigerants to exchange information, catch up on important news and educate themselves.

The booth of GEA Refrigeration Technologies was a visitor magnet during the whole exhibition. Because of a new refrigerant tax applicable to synthetic refrigerants that is due to be introduced in Australia on July 1, 2012, natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO2 were of strong interest to the visitors.

As a result of the impending refrigerant tax, the GEA Grasso BluAstrum chiller attracted major interest being launched to the market place for the first time as a solution for process cooling and air conditioning applications operating on natural refrigerant, ammonia.

For Bock Australia, an extensive interest in the new CO2 compressor racks was therefore noticeable. But also Bock Australia’s new Outdoor Units of the Plusbox R Series aroused the interest of the people. Very positive feedback came from the industry directly that highly acknowledged the fact that Bock Australia is now part of GEA Refrigeration Technologies.

Other highlights for visitors at the GEA booth were the GEA Geneglace ice machines and the GEA G Force Microprocessor Control system.

After this very successful exhibition, we are already looking forward to the next ARBS in 2014!
