GEA presents new solutions for refrigeration engineering at Chillventa 2012

8/1/2012

At the Chillventa 2012 International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Heat Pumps, GEA Refrigeration Technologies will present various innovative products in the field of refrigeration technology. From 9 to 11 October 2012, an interesting spectrum of new solutions will await visitors in Hall 4, Stand 4-316.

Examples:

GEA Grasso MS compressor with clutch enclosure
  GEA Grasso compressors
Design engineers at GEA Refrigeration Technologies have developed a completely new range of medium-sized GEA Grasso compressors (see image). These compressors are designed for application in refrigeration technology, for chillers or heat pumps. One highlight of the new range is the Type MS. It features an internal continuous Vi control system that allows adapting its internal volume conditions to external plant pressure conditions. This assures great energy efficiency under various operational states. In addition, the cooling output can be regulated via the motor speed, since the MS compressor is driven by a variable-speed motor and a frequency converter (“S” stands for speed control). This new compressor type will primarily be employed in compact GEA Grasso BluAstrum chillers – which will enable them to achieve even better ESEER values (European Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio).

The GEA Bock F18 compressor
  Open GEA Bock compressors
GEA Refrigeration Technologies has completed its GEA Bock F range by adding F18 eight-cylinder models (see image). These compressors feature long-life components and are smaller and lighter than the piston compressors available until now with comparable displacements of 240 to 280 m³/h. The F range therefore offers an extensively varied performance spectrum with displacements of approximately 10.5 m³/h (F2) to 281 m³/h (F18).

At Chillventa, GEA Refrigeration Technologies will also present GEA Geneglace ice generators, GEA AWP valves and fittings, as well as GEA chillers and control systems.
