GEA Grasso B.V. has completed a very special project. Two old Grasso compressors (1923 and 1929) from the old Droste chocolate factory in Haarlem have been renovated and placed in the residential area "Droste Wonen" in Haarlem as monuments. The grand opening was on the 2nd of July. There were a lot of positive reactions from the local authority and the media.

Our historian Bertie Geerts was one of the people who managed to make this project come true.
After four months of work the 2 compressors were renovated and revealed.
