On the 10th of June, GEA Grasso, GEA Refrigeration Components Benelux and KNVvK organised a theme day on “Sustainable Refrigeration” . This theme day started with a guided tour at the production location of GEA Grasso in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. After the tour, the more than 80 visitors could follow several presentations of guest speakers concerning sustainability within Industrial Refrigeration. The topics are based on practical cases like, Engines Motors with frequency controls, High temperature heat pumps, correct use of lubrication oil for compressor units and the visitors could meet the Grasso V. The Grasso V series are designed to guarantee a low TCO (Total Cost of ownership) especially in combination with frequency control. This well-attended day ended with an informal drink with the opportunity to meet other colleagues and professionals within the industrial refrigeration business of the Benelux.
