Grasso's Purger Pay-Back Calculation Programme
Non-condensable gases such as air tend to penetrate into a refrigeration system. These gases have a negative impact on the performance of the refrigeration system. Compressor discharge temperatures and power consumption will increase. The cooling capacity will drop. Both are resulting in a much lower Coefficient of Performance (COP) of the total refrigeration system.
To keep your plant TOP FIT Grasso produces a fully automatic self-limiting purge unit to evacuate the non-condensable gases out of the refrigeration system. The system can be integrated very simple within every existing ore new refrigeration plant.

To calculate your profit on the basis of energy savings due to the implementation of a Grasso purge unit into your system Grasso developed a computer software program.
Features:
- Pay Back Time (in months) and total savings (in terms of money) will be calculated and presented in a graph based on refrigerating capacity, cooling or freezing application, ratio of non-condensables, operating hours of compressors, electricity costs and investment.
- Userinterface in English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish language.
- Program runs on both Windows 3.x and Windows 95. It will sure run also on Windows 98, when it becomes available.

The Purger Savings software which you can download here is compressed to save you downloading time. Just run the file from the Program Manager or Explorer. Then go to C:\TEMP\GRASSO and run SETUP.EXE.
